Why do I participate in research?
“In 2015, two and a half years after having sinus and strength/pain issues, I ended up in the hospital. After 10 days, I was diagnosed with Polyarteritis Nodosa. I had seen 4 ENT’s, 2 allergy specialists, an orthopedist, an ear specialist, and a holistic medical provider.
If I hadn’t been diagnosed, I wouldn’t be here today. No one should have to go through that without a clear diagnosis. That’s why I participate in the VPPRN. Without the critical research they are doing, others might have to go through the same lack of diagnosis.”
