SPEAKERS

Kimberly Fisher

Patient Advocate

Living with Behçet’s Disease

Kimberly is a nurse, patient advocate, and speaker dedicated to raising awareness about Behçet’s disease, a rare form of vasculitis she was diagnosed with in 2019 after nearly a decade of misdiagnoses and medical trauma.

Drawing from both her professional nursing background and personal health journey, Kimberly advocates for compassionate, patient centered care and greater education about rare diseases within the medical community. After experiencing years of dismissal, discrimination, and debilitating symptoms, she now uses her voice to educate healthcare professionals and empower patients to advocate for themselves.

Kimberly is active in several nursing and wellness organizations and is the founder of KF Health Consults, where she continues her mission of education, advocacy, and health equity.
