Julie leads initiatives focused on supporting rare disease caregivers and advancing peer support programs for individuals impacted by trauma and crisis.

Since joining Give an Hour in 2022, she has helped expand resources and strengthen community-based support systems. With more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, she has worked with organizations serving individuals with developmental disabilities and those involved in the criminal justice system.

She is the founder of the UNITY Fellowship, a leadership development program supporting small nonprofits and women- and BIPOC-led organizations. Her prior experience includes nonprofit mergers and partnership development with the Latino Community Credit Union.
