Jessica Lopez Ricard

Patient Advocate

Living with Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (GPA/Wegener’s)

Jessica is a wife, mother of four, and vasculitis advocate living in San Antonio, Texas. Diagnosed with granulomatosis with polyangiitis in 2021, Jessica has faced multiple surgeries, ongoing treatments, and the physical and emotional challenges of living with a rare autoimmune disease. Through every setback, her faith, family, and resilience have remained her foundation.

Passionate about supporting others, she has become an active voice in the vasculitis community, helping lead educational programs, including the first Spanish-language Navigating Your Vasculitis Journey class.

Jessica believes in choosing “faith over fear” and encourages others facing chronic illness to embrace their new journey with hope, strength, and grace.
