2026 International Vasculitis Symposium

SPEAKERS

Grace Eisen

Patient Advocate

Living with Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (GPA/Wegener’s)

Diagnosed with GPA in 2004, Grace attended her first Vasculitis Foundation symposium just six weeks later. She credits the knowledge she gained and the physician referral she received through the Vasculitis Foundation (formerly the Wegener’s Granulomatosis Association) with helping change the course of her recovery.

A dedicated volunteer, Grace leads support groups in the Detroit and Traverse City areas, believing that knowledge is an essential part of healing.

Before joining the Board of Directors in 2010, she served on several Foundation committees and later became Board President. Grace retired in 2019 after a career as a primary care nurse and nursing faculty member.

Today, she enjoys spending time with her five grandchildren, traveling, gardening, and continuing to support the Vasculitis Foundation and its mission.
