Brent Senior, MD, FACS, FARS

Chief of the Division of Rhinology, Allergy, and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery

Dr. Senior is the Harold C. Pillsbury III Distinguished Professor and Vice Chair for Academics and Outreach in the Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the UNC Chapel Hill. He has served as Chief of the Division of Rhinology, Allergy, and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery since 2008 and also holds a faculty appointment in the Department of Neurosurgery.

His clinical expertise includes endoscopic minimally invasive management of sinus disease, cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea, anterior skull base tumors, and surgical treatment of sleep apnea and related conditions. He earned his MD from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed fellowship training in rhinology and sinus surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
