Sarrah Bates, MA joined the the Vasculitis Foundation in 2025 as the Director of Marketing & Communications, where she gets to do what she loves most: telling meaningful stories, building strong connections, and helping people find the information and support they need. With ten years of experience in nonprofit marketing and digital communications, Sarrah brings a creative, practical, and people-first approach to everything she builds.
Sarrah lives in East Orlando, Florida with her wife, Dana, their three dogs, three cats, and three fish tanks—a household that’s always full of personality and motion. When she’s not working, you’ll usually find her reading (always adding to her never-ending book list), and counting down the days until her favorite holiday (and wedding anniversary): Halloween.
