Don Nagle’s journey with the Vasculitis Foundation began when his daughter, Sarah, was diagnosed with vasculitis at just 19 years old—a life-changing moment that connected his family to a community they didn’t know they needed. Through the Foundation, they found critical resources, expert care, and support that helped them navigate the unknown.
Driven by that experience, Don became a dedicated leader and champion for the vasculitis community. Serving on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer, he helped guide the Foundation through a period of significant growth—strengthening financial governance, building long-term stability, and ensuring resources were used to maximize impact.
Don’s generosity has also been transformative. As a leading supporter of the Vasculitis Patient-Powered Research Network (VPPRN), his commitment has helped expand a global patient registry now connecting thousands of individuals and accelerating research that improves lives.
Through his leadership, philanthropy, and unwavering belief in the mission, Don has helped build a stronger, more sustainable future for the entire vasculitis community.
