Christine Yeung

VPPRN Network Manager

Christine Yeung is the Network Manager of the Vasculitis Patient-Powered Research Network (VPPRN).  Her previous experience in continuing medical education at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA afforded her the opportunity to work with medical professionals on a one-on-one basis, planning and creating content designed to lead to changes in patient care and improved patient outcomes.

In the role of the VPPRN Network Manager, the chance to have a more direct impact on patient’s lives was key and paramount to taking on this new role.  As the primary caretaker of immigrant parents with past cancer diagnoses, she understands the value and need for quality, compassionate patient care.  This, coupled with her previous work experience, exemplifies her commitment and desire to helping others and advancing medicine to meet the needs of people.
